Well I thought that I had my 70 Roadster all sorted out. Silly me! Looking at the remains of the original vent hose I could see that it was a thin walled hose. Of course the local auto parts shops didn't have any thin walled hose so I found some at a local radiator shop. Looked right and fit, the only problem is that it isn't heat / oil resistant. Turned to mush real quick. So, I need to source a 3/8" thin wall hose to get the restoration right. Yes, I do understand that I'm a bit anal about this sort of thing.

Ideas?

Ebay has just about everything and it comes to your door from anywhere in the world. Try looking for thin wall black silicone pipe.

I got mine at Walridge Motors for my P11. It might be worth a phone call to Mike Partridge if you can't find anything State side.

Thomas, Thanks for the tip. Never thought about checking Walridge. I'm off in the morning to NM to pick up my next winter project.
