The stuff dreams are made of

1st the fender, then just a little ride through France & Spain!!! Geez Ludwig that's just not fair. I live just miles from the Pacific Ocean in So Cal where sadly to many people migrate to from all over but you make me jealous.

nice Ludwig ! - and being recognized by the master of clean work & functionality must make you think you hit the lotto!

Very nice, and it's FUNCTIONAL besides good-looking. That also makes it rare.

Paul I'm looking at your picture and asking myself.....where is your head steady?

When that photo was taken, it was just being mocked up to test fit various components. That's when I realized my best course was to wait and build the 880 engine properly, and I ended up sticking a complete running 850 e-start engine in there instead, with an OEM sprung MkIII head steady.

I've since installed a Dave Taylor, but will be trying a repro PR steady one of these days (it's on the shelf); probably when I finally finish the 880 engine.

The other bugger is I have to send out my cases with the CF primary case, VR "big bearing" tranny cradle, Spyke starter, and Lytedrive clutch basket, to the guy that used to retrofit the starters for Kenny Dreer (I hope I can still find his contact info when the time comes)
