Identify the stuff in this picture

Identify the tank cover and the bike in the back. I know of only one person on the forum who has been here, so you can't give it away (ahem, Joe).

The tank looks like either a Gus Kuhn or a Dunstall 5-gallon tank, but since it's just a cover, I don't know...

The bike in the back could be a Norton Commando, but I'm not sure...

I see a green Lathe, two of those curly yellow air hoses and maybe a Snapon tool box. Right?
WD40, bolt cutter, copper head gasket and upside down girlie art. Hey this is fun, how'my doin?

Hi Dave,

Looks like a Kenny Dreer tank cover and the converted frame to internal oil also looks like one of his. Since you live in the general area of Norton America...possibly part of that operation. However I've been there and this doesn't look like what I remember. :?

I don't know, but would venture to guess it is your new project or you won the lottery and are buying us all a norton of choice.

I wish. :?

Can't identify the lathe, looks a bit like an oriental Myford, nice tool chest to.

You may want to change out the exposed Romex wiring before the code inspector or your insurance carrier see's it.

looks like a US front end Ala' Jerry Doe or CNW ?

very interesting tank cover, more infos please?
is this for a roadster tank or interstate?

Maybe a Sheldon lathe...green color.

The tank cover is neither roadster or interstate....it's 952 Commando ala Kenny Dreer. Maybe the same as current 961 Commando. It's a plastic cover for the steel tank. Makes it easy to change color...or did since Norton America is history.

Okay, Okay, I can't keep it a secret any longer. Swooshdave bought ME a Kenny Dreer 952 Commando.

Thanks Dave, You're my hero.

You guys are impatient. Good things come to those who wait.

That being said you'll have to wait until at least Thanksgiving. If you're not in the US you may need to Google to see when that is.

But it will be worth it...
