Nitro at the pumps in Mittagong . :?

No, nitro at the pub.
What I can't drink goes straight into the Norton tank.
Ride home, approx 30 seconds.

Good luck with the smoking, those tailor made things will kill you. Expensive bastards too. On the other hand, the "roll your own" are good for you and the more you smoke, the more you save.

The 3 biggest lies told by guys: the cheque is in the mail. 2 ,I did not sleep with your best friend ,we only cuddled

3, my commando is pushing over a 100 horses.

No tall tales on this one Phil.

Mine turned 102 HP once we got the Dyno set right. It also showed me exactly what jet sizes to put in my carbs...amazing what technology can do for you. :D

That's steve on the gravel with the trixi bike.

That's a bucking horse looking like a Norton. The rider is Buck Rodgers, not Steve.

auldblue,
You and I will be attacked yet again for off topic non motorbike let alone non Norton let even further alone non Commando discussion. So I'll leave you with a photo of my Commando tool box. I've never opened it as I don't know which end is which.

Sorry phil

What I meant to say was could I stick daytona first gears in this puppy.

The Opening

Library picture.

Cos the roads here are very diddy with a lot of daft blind corners and narrow. Or am I just being stupid.

I've seen your tool kit before.

Any feedback on the daytona gears , only negative will be appreciated!

So has Time, he said it looked bored. It didn't move for more than three weeks so I threw it out and got one without the fur lining. Haven't opened it either. Easier to buy more Commandos than fix old ones.

Many many years ago I was attending a pilot conference, a two day affair in Melbourne and the night in-between was usually a riot of a time. I took with me Felicity who was our second only ever female airline pilot, she was assisting me at the time. On morning two she turned to me and said everyone has the right to enjoy life, but you abuse the privilege!!

I never did understand what she meant, mainly because I couldn't remember the night before anyway. But I think she meant a man should not be allowed to own too many Nortons!

Just what you'd expect a woman to say!!

Phil,

They say the mind is the first thing to go. I think you need to remember what happened the night before...or maybe not

I'm talking 30 years ago when we used to do silly things like drink a little too much on odd occasions. They were different times, certainly for me as I can't recall the last time I drank more than two beers in an evening, maybe three max. It was a long time ago. Mind is as sharp or sharper than ever. Alcohol or any substance for that matter is not an issue for me.
