okay, now that I have your attention...
where have you purchased your posters? These are such cool posters/advertisements and I really want them for my shop. Yes! I really want them. You want to sell yours? Okay, maybe not, but send me to a spot to get them.

frames but they are empty!

I have most (if not all) of the ads (full page, magazine-size) ORIGINAL (not reprints!) for sale.
I'll have to go out to my car and get my "inventory" jump drive but I'll sell them for basically
what I've got in them (probably $8.00 each but I'll have to check). My favorite is "excuse me
miss could you move, we can't see the motorcycle"

How big?

I checked my inventory, I'll sell them for $9.00 each, domestic (U.S.A.) shipping will be $5.00.
I have about 17 different Norton (Commando) ads and about 100 "other" British bike ads.

Many of the images are available online. Some are quite large and can be printed out, but probably not to poster size. Maybe 11x17. Not to steal from the sale of the original ads but if you wanted them bigger it's possible.

Just for interest sake, I do believe one of the Norton girls married a Mr. Seeley, racer, designer of the famous Seeley frame. Can you add to this Seeley920? I do intend to catch up soon John but the family has dragged me to the Lake for water skiing, camping,BBQs & copious amounts of carlton draught!

Sounds logical, fast lap times, fast bikes and fast women!

I can't find the article at the moment, but somewhere in the last 2 or 3 years there was a write-up on Vivian Neves who was probably the most used Norton girl back in the day. She died a few years ago of MS at I believe age 55.

Hi Foxy, it's tough life isn't it :-)

I've just got to contend with snow and -7 overnight!! Got all my cranks and heads back, so now I gotta clear some space on the living room table to start the rebuilds.....garage is too cold !!!

I'm not sure about Colin marrying one of the Norton girls, actually, I think he was married to Joan before the Commando was released though. I'll check it and let you know!!

Nelson,
I too read that same article after googling Vivian Neeves.
Seems she went onto acting in B movies as well.
Cheap horror movies were in vogue back in the day.
There is a topless photo w/ a JPN floating around too.
I do not know if this is Vivian as well :?
Kinda miss the old advertising strategy

Here are a pair you probably not seen. Kenny Dreer Norton umbrella girls at the 2003 Laguna Seca GP.

Quite an interesting story about Vivien Neves...I googled and found an article where her sister details Vivien's life...it would actually make a pretty decent movie.
Anyone have the names of some of the other girls who modelled in those print ads of the 70's ? Or any interesting stories of the photo shoots?

Is Vivian the one from the "Temptation" ad of circa 73? She looks it.

Pretty woman, for sure, in any event. Tragic that her life was cut so short.
