The new Norton

I had the chance to go by the US Norton distributer in Lomita, California this week. They have two of the new Nortons on the floor. One was used on the salt flats to see how fast it is, the other for sale. The guy behind the counter said he expects the EPA will give the bike the green light to sell within the next month, and it shouldn't take long after that to start delivering them. He also told me there are still four bikes available. Several people have ordered bikes, but have not come up with the money. This all suprised me a bit as I thought the new bikes were on the street and being ridden in the US. Guess I should pay closer attention.

Kinda sad how they keep promising delivery dates that slip by 6 months to a year.

They are on the street in the UK, still SUPPOSEDLY May or June over here MAYBE.
