We all have things that trigger the act.
What do you do and why?

...funny thing is... having self cancelling (SignalMinder) seems to have made me remember much better

I don't forget to turn my leg off lol, a copper pulled me over one day and asked why I stuck my leg out, I was indicating, he then said why didn't I use my hand single and I told him, isn't it illegal to take your hands off the handle bars.

I keep my thumb on the flipper, (on the Norton) while I execute the turn. Other bikes, my thumb is poised on the 3-way switch to remind me to press it off.

No longer forget, have a 12V siren under the seat which even at high speed I can feel the vibration. In urban area's it sounds just like a reversing lorry beeping so pedestrians look up from their phone screens and look around for the lorry only to see a bike, no more stepping out from the pavement in front of me as I take a turn.

Flippin BRILLIANT!!

This is the siren, I wrap it in foam as otherwise its a bit loud.

I connect it to a spare terminal (plus earth on the other side) on the electronic flasher unit I use which has a warning lamp circuit which is additional to the warning lamp in the headlamp shell.
