And it is...
Or was, a featherbed.

No link to the sale provided, you'll have to find it yourself.
I quite like it, but am not going to encourage this... !

The angles of those spokes/nipples look diabolical.

It might have been a Dominator or even an Atlas - can't be sure. No rear swing arm, ludicrous wheel spoking - run away like hell!! ( unless you want to sign up for a major rebuild back to stock). Why would anyone disable the rear suspension back to a rigid frame? Dumb s**t!

The engine number makes it a Model 99, a 600cc dommie.
The badge in the timing cover fits in with that too.

Chopper logic defies logic. (?).
But the paintwork makes up for it....

That is some amazing craftsmanship and artistry. A piece of history, from the LSD era...

Somebody ought to buy that and spend thousands of dollars preserving it!

That 'somebody' should surely be Hobot...!?

Those are definitely the long Roadholders.

You don't often see longer forks like that that haven't been raked out - a lot.
Might be a bit of a camel ?

Rough looking dommies coming out of the woodwork...

This one hasn't had anything irreversible done to it though.

When I was a kid, those ape-hanger handle bars were all the go. I had a set on my T110 Triumph. As I accelerated out of a street corner, the rear chain broke and locked the back wheel. The reaction came through those wide handlebars and I got launched into space. I split the back of a jet helmet when my head hit the bitumen..

The choppers aren't any worse than the bobbers the kids are building today. Luckily they are just abusing crappy Jap bikes so no one will care in 30 years.

We have been amused that some of these same jap bobbers that have SERIOUSLY been cut down are asking seriously large prices over a stock bike. !
I asked somewhere if he'd kept all the discards ( I reckon they were worth more than the bike was now) no, but he'd sold them on.
At least others benefit ...
