Tank & Seat Selection

I am looking at a 73 interstate tank and seat for my 71 750. I would like some feedback on fitting the 73 items on my frame. I realize the look of the bike will change but I can see a benefit of having a larger capacity interstate tank over the roadster.

Will they work with out modifications?

I run both Roadster and Interstate tin on mine. Only issue I have is having to pull the Interstate tank as far back as I can to clear my lower bars. The issue then is that the tank and seat front rub making for unsightly paint on the tank. I ignore it as you can't see it. Otherwise I have no problems. This is on a '73 frame and I can't swear to the age of the tank other than it's pre '75. It's a monster.
