Hey guys. It seems my supposed 3 month old battery has given up or I have the mystery battery drain problem. Either way, I need to remove the tank which I have done loosely once to jump the battery but I do need to remove it for a new battery install and battery tender. Are there any tricks or quirks to know about before hand that could be usefull to know? Maybe delicate parts, clips that are a pain and so on? I don't want to make any mistakes that may cause me to have to deal with ordering parts from Norton and waiting a century. Also, I know this is a silly question but will I need to drain the fuel or is the fuel connector by chance a one way check valve type that won't allow the fuel to drain after disconnected? If I can do the work here at my apartment without draining it would be nice or else I'll have to get it to my shop. Thanks, ever helpful Norton owners!
