If I may ask, what is it that does not match, photo if possible, and where was the bezel acquired?
I have been considering purchasing some bezel-glass-grommet-screw kits and now I'm a little bit antsy due to your comment.
I'd rather do the instrument overhaul by myself as opposed to sending it away 'cause I'm curious and a might thrifty.
