I bought this gear cluster for my newly acquired BSA rocket 3
I'm assuming it's a t150v gearbox?
Can someone confirm? Are there any other parts needed?
Cheers

Looks like a T150v to me.

Only part missing is the spindle for the selector forks? Did I miss that in the photos? 57-3989

Parts numbers are same for 73 Twin and Triple for the big sleeve gear but I seem to remember there are some changes with that not sure when or even if.
Yep the selector rod spindle is missing
It has a solid mainshaft so must be a pull rod type shaft
I believe it's a late type 5 speed because it has a circlip on the layshaft
I've gradually been learning more since posting this question
The good thing is all parts seem to be available

Baz I will have a look! I've still got loads of triple parts.
It's a long time since I've played with a triumph 5 speed
And that was on a t140e
when I bought a rocket 3 from a deceased estate last week there was the 5 speed in box right next to it
I'm guessing the owner was planning to convert it at some stage but he ran out of years sadly
So I just wanted to confirm that all the parts were there
I've read Phil Picks info on these and it appears to be a late 5 speed box, complete except the selector spindle
I'm assuming the spindle is the same as a 4 speed one?
