T140/T160 master cylinder thread size

Hi all,

Does anybody on here know the thread size used on a T140/T160 front brake master cylinder body where it screws into the aluminium housing? I know the pipe end is 3/8"UNF but cannot find any info on the large fine thread used on the other end. I want to run a tap down the matching hole in the housing to clean the thread before I re-assemble everything.
