Not long now I guess to the Welford meet which is the NOC club for Leics/Northants who invite all 961 riders. Usually in March
 
hmmm, don't even know if my bike still runs.... not even got around to replacing the broken silencer. I will order in extra ibuprofen and get busy...

Luckily I got a warranty replacement last october time as the baffles on my 2 year old shortie broke it's welds. Only three nuts/bolts to undo/tighten as far as I can see but FE is right in questioning whether I can do all 3 bolts in just 2 months!! :confused:

I am still on a promise to return the broken silencer.... but will anyone be there to sign for it???

How u getting on with that silencer Mark , we will be inspecting that on April 5th ? , & just thought I’d thought this thread back to the top again , we need some good news, so here it is , bunch of Norton’s at “ rykas cafe” might be the largest bunch together anywhere in the world , guessing we can’t include the factory atm ?
 
lol exhaust will be on but don't expect to see me at Rykas, that's a 160 mile thrash with clip-ons!!! Or to put it another way, 2 packs of ibuprofen and bottle of scotch! Or to put it another way, half-pint of engine oil over my rear wheel from the overflowing catch bottle! If the weather is nice I might pop up to Mablethorpe cafe on the sea front and call you on facetime :)

Have a good run wherever you manage to go, the rest of us Blighties will have to sort a run up to the midlands for a meet. I’d like a get together at the National Mc Museum at some time.
 
5 weeks today guys & girls till this gathering of our UK selection of 961,s. a V4 may make an appearance & a guy with a Mick grant special 961 may attend ( without his V4 ) & with the absence of a £44k refund ,shocking & breathtaking as we know
