Stolen from Nr Andover, Hampshire UK in the early hours of Thursday 20th November 2008, Norton Commando 750 chassis and engine number 144386 reg mark DHO 72K Norton Villiers Ltd ex-works bike with some non-standard works pre-production test parts. Black with gold pin stripes. Please contact me or Andover Police Station on 0845 045 45 45 if you are offered this bike. Thanks!

Keep an eye on Ebay, that scum has zero chance of flogging the whole bike so it may end up in bits.

Re: trim, although I know this bike well, it belongs to my father-in-law (who's away at the mo.) from what I can remember it is a fairly standard looking Roadster 750 apart from a few parts which would stand out as wrong for a 1971 model to anyone who knows these bikes well, the handlebars are also slightly lower than on a normal model. I'll add more details as soon as I can speak with my father-in-law after the weekend (thankfully I don't have to break the news but it could take a day or too before I can get sensible answers.)

thats terrible news. this is not far from my neck of the woods(im basingstoke) so will keep an eye out and pass the message on to other riders i know.
