Just checking my stock cam lift......and in just checking one exhaust valve, I am getting .328" lift.
Using my new "Harbor Freight" dial indicator on a flexy shaft vise grip. highly sophisticated and highly accurate.
The Norton spares book shows 22729 as the cam part number, and appears to be the stock cam for many years......1963 thru 1970 at least , maybe more years.
Is there more data about this 22729 cam posted on line, other than the Megacycle cam catalog page posted below?

Hi , yes I had used Johnson cams, but they were 360 and 380, nicely made and pretty accurate about timing 5( I had checked them on all lobes , and keyway), but it took them a LLLOOONNG time to make them, and it was few years ago, just before the boss leave .........so , in fact I cannot give a real efficient feedback, You can ask to Jim comstock, as he supplies the webcam cams, and he has a very good reputation.
