Any tips on the order of assembly of these chains? I am doing both at once, with tapping the distributor drive sprocket, cam sprocket and intermediate gear simulaneously on to their respective shafts/spindle is proving difficult. The distributor sprocket seems the difficult spot. The distributor chain is fairly tight and the sprocket doesn't want to slide on the shaft. I am assuming it is best to do it this way, and not leave the distributor completely loose on its studs?

Nevermind, I see I had the distributor sprocket on backwards. All is smooth and good now.

I normally leave the distributor loose until later.
Oh yeah, you might want to turn the distributor sprocket around. Much easier to get the spring pin in, and the chain will be straight.
edit:
sorry, I was to slow typing and hitting the enter button.

I think you have the distributor sprocket on backwards, which would cause misalignment of the chain, making it tight

Yes much easier to fit when things on the right way around, but its a easy mistake to make we all do it at some stage.
