Just got back from visiting Steve in hospital (the Alfred in Melbourne Saturday 11:00am). He's in much better shape now, a bit weak and tender but he's bright and cheerful. his lovely wife Val was there too, both outside in the garden enjoying the sun and coffee. He'll be in a wheelchair for a couple of weeks but may be able to fly back to the UK next week. Steve sends his very best regards to everyone who has contacted him and passed on their best wishes. I think we can say it will be back to business with Steve in the near future.

Thanks for the update. I hope for a quick recovery, I know family and friends can really help when your down. We really need guys like Steve to keep improving our Norton's parts, There a few guys out there that make parts that bring Norton's to the next level. Best wishes, Chuck.

Just a quick update,

Steve is back home and recovering well. He won't be back working full time himself for a while yet, but the business is still running fine, as he goes in for an hour or so each day to crack the whip :)

Good man, will he be back on track this year? Guess he's got some rebuilding to do!!

Actually, the bike isn't too bad....the plates in his hip will stay, but they will take the one in his collarbone out.

He might be out later on the season but laughed when I suggested Pembrey at Easter :)

Gday Seeley920, well thats great news about Steve being well on the road to recovery! Im geussing he,s now wasting even more time sipping cups of tea.
