What is the best way to remove the steering fork lock on the top yoke for a 1974 Commando? It looks like it might drift out. I couldn’t find any info. for this model in past threads. Thank you for your help.
If it looks similar to the one below then drift it upwards to remove...
...however, some Mk2/2As supposedly had an upper yoke with a Neiman steering lock secured by a roll pin which must be drifted downward to remove although this type of Neiman yoke/lock seems rare if ever used at all on Mk2/2A models.
