Steel Gas Tank

I got some extra money for Christmas and have decided to bite the bullet and invest in a steel gas tank. Does anybody have any experience with the ones sold by Steadfast in CA? I remember reading here that some units that were imported from Pakistan were not worth the money and effort to make them right. Just looking for some direction before I put my money down.

I never bought a tank from Steadfast (have bought other parts from them and always was satisfied), but I bought one from a vendor that imported it from India. I can't speak for any other than the tank I received, but it was not great from a workmanship standpoint. The vendor gave me my money back and I ordered one from Burton's that was made in the UK and the tank was very nice.

I did not buy my steel tank from Brandon (Steadfast) but he is a standup guy. I got mine from The Garage Company in Los Angeles/Inglewood. Ask for Yoshi, tell him Eric sent you. He gave me a great deal on a super straight steel tank in great shape. Needed nothing but new paint, which you would do to a "new" tank anyway. Good luck!
