Looking good Tom,
I can't wait to go for a ride with you on that thing! That bike is a beauty! I have finally had a day off so I just got mine back together again since I resealed my tank it turned out pretty good (not as good as the caswell job you have int the tank of this bike) but still pretty good.

Absolutely stunning! Envious is another word I'd use, but that would be describing me

Congratulations Tom, your bike is truly a work of art and many thanks for sharing!

That bike is beeeutiful Tom! Does Norman white sell the left hand side lower fork leg seperately? Cj

Thanks! I was able to purchase just the slider from Norman White. He does sell a complete kit that looks reasonably priced considering you get the fork leg, rotors, calipers, hub and SS hoses. http://www.normanwhite.co.uk/prod01.htm I prefer the lighter looking Kosman rotors and hub but that’s just my personal taste. I would email him and see if you can still get the fork leg individually. Since the castings are from two different sources (Norton and White) I ended up turning the caliper spacers on the lathe out of aluminum. To center the rotor in the calipers so the wheel would spin freely ended up with the right and left spacers several thou different but pretty simple to do.

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks for the info.on the fork slider. That really is top notch looking work on the stealth. Cj

Very nice work Tom, The colors really look great. Would be nice to ride up on the Backbone huh??? How far are you from there?? Keep up the great work.

Very nice bike! What brand of rear shocks are those and who sells them if you don't mind saying. I've been looking for a set for my bike that will smooth out the bumps my old Girlings are shot.
Thanks

All I can say is, WOW!

I have looked through your photos four times now and I am thoroughly impressed by your project. I love the color combo and your fabrication work is impressive! Give us more !

What process did you use to clean the heads, barrels and cases? Everything looks, better than new.

Hey, thanks again for the compliments. I can get to Torrey in less than 4 hours the direct way but we ride the scenic route (almost 400 miles). Nothing but back road mountain passes and canyons and that takes us a little longer. The Utah British Bike Club has a ride down to Torrey, Utah (the site of the 2000 and 2007 INOA rallies-(just outside Capitol Reef National Park) every July. Hywy 12 including Hell’s Backbone and Hogsback are always on the list. Anyone is always welcome to join us on the ride.

Thanks

Sorry about the delay in response-had knee surgery and am trying to get back to work on the mountain asap-luckily was skiing a little after two weeks.
Anyway I use Works aluminum body shocks. http://www.worksperformance.com/html/home.html They have sponsored me on my racebikes
and custom build the shocks for your weight and purpose. So when it came to building the Stealth Canyon Racer  - I bought what has worked with me on the track.

Cleaned them in my solvent tank, plugged all holes then soda blasted them. Another one of my sponsors was HPC Coatings (they used to have a facility in Utah) The cases are HPC coated clear, black to cylinders, ceramic to the piston crowns and a teflon type coating to the skirts. Again-the same thing
done to the racebike except didn't coat the cases. Thanks again!

Beautiful work, it shows a lot of thought, thought put into it by someone experienced with these machines.

Not to belittle the other parts, but I just love those carbs.

Hey Tom amazing work on this bike. I would realy like to buy a set of the Goodrige braided oil lines and fittings like yours. I really like that "Y" fitting on the right side of your head as opposed to the common stacked double ones. Does Goodrige make a set for Nortons or did you put it togeather yourself? Thanks.
