I have noticed that the Stainless rocker oil feed lines seem overpriced and was wondering if it would be possible to get sumone to make them up for me instead of paying the $130Aus for the already made ones. Has anyone out there had this done. As i am looking into them as i took the bike for a spin and the line fell off at the timing cover and spewed oil everywhere.

Also can i get a part number for the Banjo Bolt down the bottom on the case.

The stainless oil line is, basically no more than a 'brake' line, although there are things to be considered should you decide to get one made up.

The braided line used is (as far as I know) just the standard type, and the fitting to the crankcase at the lower end and also the fitting to the L/H side of the cylinder head are standard (top ones are slightly curved type) banjo fittings.

The R/H cylinder head fitting can be done two ways.

Either
A single banjo fitting with two pipe connections (normally spaced 90 degrees apart) can be used, that is probably the easiest way to do it, and is how many of these stainless lines are generally made up, so if the double banjo fitting is available to whoever makes the line up then that is probably the best option.

Or
There is a simpler (and cheaper) option that uses two separate banjos, one fitted to the feed pipe and the other to the crossover pipe can be used together with a 'double' banjo bolt at (normally) the R/H cylinder head position, so two separate lines with a standard banjo fitting at each end is probably easier to get made up but you may have difficulty finding a double banjo bolt with a 5/16" BSF thread, although you may at last get one from Mick Hemmings in the UK as he has supplied the 'two line' kit (I use one of the Hemmings kits).

Also can i get a part number for the Banjo Bolt down the bottom on the case.

I was wondering if anyone could give me sizes of the parts i will need to get these lines made up, ie banjo sizes and the parts that get crimped to the end.

It can depend what actual setup you choose to go for, and also what is available wherever you intend getting the line made up, as there are a large number of options, stainless/chrome/zinc plate/coloured anodised fittings, clear/coloured pipe sheathing, compression fittings/crimp fittings and so on. The most common banjo fittings are normally 10mm/3/8" although you will need 8mm/5/16" ones which are available.

As a further update to what I said concerning the banjo bolt sizes, the original banjo and bolt size is 5/16" although my own (Hemmings) stainless kit has 3/8" banjos, but the stainless banjo bolts supplied with the kit are a shouldered adaptor type that fit the 3/8" banjos, also some 5/16" banjo fittings are for smaller bore pipe than standard.
