Is there a stainless front fender that looks like the production racer fenders that looks like it was actually made to fit a 19" wheel with a TT100 tire? I've seen xs650 fenders used, but I think they are chrome and also have the hole for the cable retainer on the left side. I'm more interested in a stainless match for the stock rear fender that looks like it was made for a commando.

You might like the ones that Colorado Norton Works sells. Not exactly like a PR one but sim. I don't remember if they are stainless or not but if you ask Matt he may be able to have one made for you.

I saw those, but think they are steel ready to paint, but I never thought about asking to have a stainless one made.

I use this chrome fender with the Brembo kits. It is essentially the same as the CNW except the brackets are wider and you need to re-drill the mount holes.

Looks like the cnw fender does not work with a tt100 tire. Ron I was concerned about a difference in finish from front to back fenders. Don't know how much visually the chrome front would look compared to stainless rear. I guess I will have to just keep the stock fender or find another front and chop it. Chopping one sounds like an easier task.

I'll tell you this much, the difference between a fender with a curve to match a 19" tire, mounted on a bike with an 18" tire, has caught me nothing but complaints on my silver monoshocker. I'm still looking.

It's not much, but it's noticeable...

Paul, I am going to keep the 19" wheel so my options are find a stock fender and cut to desired size, or I was looking and I think certain H! years came with a front stainless fender, but I can't tell which years came with what and I don't know the width of the H1 fender. Prmurat, do you have a picture you could post of the fender you bought. I saw it, but thought it was not quit right.

Here are some pictures of the Thai one... main problem: no roll on the side, basically a sheet of SS bended:
marks is some plastic sheet applied for protection.

Here is a -69~-71 H1 Kawie, in SS (guess W1/W2 & A7, A5 had SS too):

Here is a -72 T500:

Hey thanks, how wide is the H1 fender and that new bobber fender. I'm trying to figure if it'll look decent with 4.1 x 19 tire. I thought the triples came with chrome, didn't know they had an ss version. Thanks for the pics great help.

Triples came with chrome in 73 and after(h1D ~) The bobber is perfect for a Norton radius wise... holes have to be repositioned.

Since you have been discussing our bobbed stainless fender, I would like to bring your attention to a new addition... This fender is heavier stainless. The stays are much thicker and are attached with stainless button head allen screws rather than rivets. It is designed for the Yamaha SR500, but could possibly be adapted to the Commando. Let me know if you have any questions.
