I just received an ad from SRM about their pressure relief valves. From the looks of the ad they make them for Norton's, Triumph's and BSA's.
Has anyone purchased one of these? What is your take on the product?
You can look at the ad at shop.srmclassicbikes.com

I have one, quality piece of kit, fit & finish is great, and SRM claims accurate bench testing (though Ive not tested that)

+1 I like them, least of all because they say they test every single unit

I run an oil pressure gauge on my MKIII, and after fitting the SRM OPRV, my oil pressure was a little higher all the way up the scale. Don't remember exactly how much, but definitely higher. Very nice quality.

The blow off pressure is NOT the reason for higher pressure since once the engine oil is warm the OPV typically never opens... even with straight 50W. IIRC the SRM lazer marked item and SRM made and unmarked devices(RGM?) have tighter threads in the timing cover and would easily account for higher pressure due to less leakage just blowing out into the timing chest or pump inlet.
The blow off characteristics due to a different rate spring I have tested and shown it to be a flatter curve with increased flow than the norton original.
