Just a ramble on not wasting the summer long hours after work hours.
Got Trixie Combat front disc pads sanded down de rust burnished and cleaned the dust off. While at it knocked her forks out the yokes and put on some intact, if a bit short gaiters. Was about to put on a almost SuperVenom but the ole k81 still has couple 1000 miles meat on it so belayed that task and check the wheel true-ness and spoke set tone. I'd noticed the front wheel wavering ~1/4 riding and found some reason for it. Some kind loose dull sounding spoke near the bilp in ture.

So in the humble posture of Norton Worship, on low seat head down arms out in devotion gesutres, went round and round. I find 3 tap tap tap per spoke then next give me best sense of tone. Anywho found half a dozen on non disc side pretty dull loose and re-tuning took about half the rim wobble out. So pleased it was easy and actually improved ride appearances. Don't want some bloke at rally asking if knew I'd picked up a snake long the way. Might want to pray over yours now and then too.

Last pm found drive nail in tack drive and then past working cable, not. so found spares and got it too work again, short of actually starting as wheel off already.
I think everything is working now which is a pleasant sensation, for as long as it might last.

So after above wasted time on Trixie I got what I really went out for done, more advancement on my true love Ms Peel. Got top two mounts started on her Hole Shot Repeater device. Might even get her mocked up enough to haul out for INOA world to mock at my hay seed engineering. Dropped camera so no photo's til a used ebay one arrives.

Hobart,
I assumed the position for about two hours last Friday as I un-laced my front and rear rims. Saturday I bent over and now four days later I haven't been able to get my back upright yet. Lesson learned, I'll make sure I am in a more up right position when I lace them up.

Ugh, after I finish Ms Peel I'm starting a book for the world called THE Sag Factor.
If you have luxury of shop with lift and such great but that only slows down the spinal decay, not stop or reverse it. I'm gradually regrowing neck and what used to get me burning ache in neck and back, like big chain saw filing which is something that only right on the money work, don't get me this year. But no matter how good of shape we are there's still a threshold of staying still in one place bent forward till it gets us. Most of the nine months recovery Trixie I could not stand up to find a part or a tool, ape man like or chopped in back with an ax. Last 3 month didn't have near the reaction and could arise w/o much bother.

Dang low bars can get me riding as well and Trixies factory bars are right at the limit
I can take and not get upper back cramp, after I angled them up much as they can.

Anyway it was fun not actually having to repair anything and I still have new mirrors to put on, then take off the milk crate to fit right in.
