So I picked up a set of Norman Hyde rearsets for pretty cheap. Tossed them on, and well....did he not account for the kick start? Anyone else have or had these? I think Im going to have to modify the shift lever.

I had a 75 kickstarted on my 750 when I got my set of Mick Hemmings rearsets. I had to get the old model kickstart to function. The "U" bend of the shifter still had to be tweaked to get it just right for my taste.

I believe the kickstart lever should be moved to a new position, so that it remains below the level of the footrest when used with the Hyde Commando rearset kit, as that's how it is shown in one of Hyde's old catalogue photos.

would that not make kicking a bear? To not have the extra height?

Had an old 90's HYDE catalouge, kickstart laid back under foot peg, they need to move futher back to clear the kickstart, starting :?: not to bad as long as its a good starter
