Hello,
My name is Gilles, i am 44 and leave in France. I've buy my first Norton 750 Commando at 31 years old, I'm waitting about 8 years to can buy it.
Since 2 years i ride on track with an other Norton 750 Commando that i complitly rebuilt.
Now since last year i modify my bike and ride on the French championship VMA (in french) translate Old Bike Speed Race whith my Stock Frame 750 Commando.
I only modify isolastic Production racer transformation, 4 gears close ration and PW3 camshaft and rear Triumph wheel with brake disc and 520 chain.
Now, the futur transformation are on the engine cradle, Exhaust tube because the SS tube with Peashooters are too much large and put the oil tank in central position or change the standard oil tank to another like featherbed tank.
My Road Commando now unsettled to fit is stock engine on race bike because i broken its on my last race.... :
It's not a 850 but 750.
Your forum is very good to find ideas to modify and prepar bike. My purpose is to keep more standard parts beacause it's more simple to come back to a road bike in some years...
I hope that you understood me, my English is very bad...
Gilles
