I bought another sleeping giant recently one owner 1974 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. 11000 miles.Original tool kit and manual. Been sleeping for 20 years.Just needs the fluids changed,battery,tank cleaned. $500.00

If you don't know already.
Remove the spark plugs and squirt some WD40 or similar into the cylinders then turn the engine over via the crank snout.
Hopefully the chrome bore has not started to bubble.
That front wheel is worth what you payed for the bike. :wink:

This was after not being started for close to a year,oil change,carburetors stripped and cleaned etc.
One sniff of fuel and away it went.
The Eldorado is certainly a motorcycle that once gone over would do a lap of Australia / USA no problems.
The Gilardoni nikasil cylinders kits are available too. (850 or 950cc)

You sure it's not a '73? My '74 has a disc brake up front (although I'd love that 4LS)
