We took our grandson to lunch yesterday at Cafe Veloce, in the Totem Lake Mall in Kirkland. Neat place - all motorcycle oriented (though everthing's Italian). They were running several of the Duke Motorsports videos on displays on the wall. The food was excellent, also.
When we came out, two bikes were parked outside, a new-ish Harley and a beautifully retored Commando 750. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera along.
It had a black tank with the gold "Norton" logo, a front disk brake and a "Collector Vehicle" WA license plate. As we were headed north on 405, both bikes passed us, then turned off the freeway at SR527.
I woner if the Commando owner is on here. It certainly is a beatifully done resto. It's the first one I've seen in several years.
