I understand from a well informed source that Peter Williams
Genius / Gifted engineer / Rider/ T T Winner has parted company
with the factory .
Sad day indeed .

They haven't got confused about Brian Crighton - the rotary man?
Latest NOC(UK) newsletter has an interview with Stuart Garner, very complimentary about Peters input, mentioned without explanation that Brian was no longer involved in the Rotary project.

Sad news indeed, hopefully just a personality clash but all will come out in good time i suppose. As Peter is NOC vice president perhaps something in the next newsletter??
I really do hope the 961 all comes together but things like this do make me nervous.

I hope all is well. The thought of failure isn't a good thing. An awful lot of money has been sunk into this and I know all about multiple deadlines.

Just for your info, I think Peter will always be involved with Norton but his time there was primarily associated with his electric bike project and wasn't really involved with other projects, as ever a forward thinker Peter will still be pushing his electric bike project forward.

Aye right!

When we have to give up petrol then the bike industry will die, its the sound and the smell that makes it emotive.

Simon, thanks for the update, I suppose we should be grateful for getting updates straight from the horses mouth and you are right this project / rebirth is under intense scrutiny possibly more intensely by the Forum members here as we all want to see success rather than another embarrasment. All we ask is that you keep us posted so that we can avoid starting our own rumours

If you need a test pilot I've plenty time on my hands right now and available, I'd happily blast one down to Marrakesh and back in a few days if you like (it's warm there!)
