After 3 or 4 years of non use, initially mechanical but largely objecting to paying massively increased vehicle licensing costs on more than one bike, my Commando is now 40 and qualifies for cheaper annual licensing :D
While off the road somehow a Pazon Altair and a Fullauto head found their way into the garage.
First open road ride today, a gentle hour out to a café and return, as a shake down run. All good so far.

Low Vis colour scheme , but that helmet . Do you have eyes in the back of your head ? . :P Looks like the weathers right . How far down the country are you ?

Looking Good .

Love the sexy curves of the pin lined IS tank reflecting in soft bags shape and that big ole front stopper too.

That is beautiful. Tasteful and complete. One of the best have seen. It would be nice to see a dozen or so detailed shots.

Is that a stock fender chopped? I like it a lot.

Thankyou for the kind words, i am pretty happy with how it has come together.
Matt - I am in the Waikato, the cafe is at Arapuni and well worth a visit for the ride and the food/coffee, and eyes in the back of the head must be in the genes, my daughter is about to qualify as a teacher :D
Pete - the front guard (fender) is a CNW one, i was lucky enough to visit there a few years back and bought it while there. Had it chromed here in NZ. The only problem with it is that it rains a lot here and the short guard lets a lot of muck get up into the wiring harness under the tank. I am likely to fit a mudflap to extend the lower end. It doesn't show in these pics but i also have a CNW chainguard, also chromed. Will do on the detailed shots, but it is too cramped in the garage and is raining today so will have to wait for a break in the weather.
I have spent a long time thinking about paint schemes over the years and ended up copying the idea from an R100 BMW. There is a local gent who specialises in bikes and is a real artist, decals are painted not transfers/stickers.
