After a gearbox rebuild along with having the rear brake drum circlip groove deepened to better secure the brake drum bearing, RGM high friction gold rear brake shoes as well replacing the the clutch plates with Barnetts, the rear wheel cover dish, rear chain and chainguard, Trixie roared to life on the 3rd kick.
I got in about 25 miles yesterday (the speedometer drive decided to take a crap when I was replacing the rear wheel dish). Looking to get in about 50 miles this afternoon.
Next on the list is a complete front brake upgrade using a new Andover Norton 13mm MC with mirror mount, Ferodo pads, braided SS line and caliper rebuild, replacing the Podtronics voltage regulator with a SHINDENGEN SH775AA, new speedometer drive and air filter element.
