Isle of Mann commerative bikes?

Unlikely, as the Isle of Man has a different spelling.

But remind us, what would be commemorated in 1972 ?
Or point us to something documenting this....

1957 was the Golden Jubilee of Nortons 1907 win in the twin cylinder class of the IoM Tourist Trophy.
Rem Fowler later reported he didn't even get his trophy.
And was very much later awarded one....

The JPN cafe racer roadbike of 1974 was the factory tribute to the race team

They found them tough to sell, and production numbers were sumewhat limited.

I am wodering if my 1972 Commando SN 209808 was one of the Isle of Mann commerative bikes?

It seems you've asked this question before (only then it was supposed to have been a 1971 model)?

As 1up3down pointed out at that time, the Norton (Formula 750) TT win on the Isle of Man happened in 1973.
