Can an 850 roadster seat be fitted to the 750 Roadster??..
The "Heinz 57" i have was originally built as an Interpol. but with a roadster tank now acquired, that's what its going to have.....how critical is it to match the seat type to tank type.

If you have the Roadster tank and seat , why not try fitting them to your bike .... I assume you have the knurled knobs at shock mounts , mount seat and see how joint at seat/tank looks , some leeway in tank mount position ... if you like the look you got your confirmation .....
 
Yes. 750 / 850 Roadster seats interchange.
With a Roadster tank.
 
Malcolm do you have a seat to try , or does someone close by have one for a test fit .... I have one hanging on wall here , just too far away ....
 
750/850 roadster tank needs roadster seat. 750/850 interstate tank needs interstate seat.
The interstate seat is shorter to accommodate the longer tank.
 
Its easy to change the lugs position to fit I run a Interstate seat on my Wideline Featherbed just had to change the lugs position.
