Royal Purple Color

I am trying to find anyone who knows about the Royal Purple color offered in 71-72 for the Commando. I would like to paint my bike this color. Any help out there?

I guess you mean the Roman Purple?
I would be very interested in the details on what kind of flakes and where to get them..

Do a search - it's been discussed quite a few times already.

It requires 'proper' spray equipment and lots of time and effort to get the job clearcoated effectively.
It's worth the effort - I'm rather partial to flakes myself, but haven't done a purple one yet...

My mistake, Roman Purple. Got a guy here(old Hippy) that can do it. He has the gun and still has the metal flakes, says they been sitting on the shelf for 20 yrs.
