Anybody have the date of when Robert "In search of the Perfect Norton" passed away? Anybody make it to the memorial?

sorry, nothing to do with your query - but how many bikes do you know of that have benefited from the procedure you outline in WSC. I carried out the work on my bike two years ago and it transformed the handling. Thanks for sharing what is essential info for any Commando owner.

The late Kenny Augustine did the WSC and was rather pissed at his customer leaving him hanging a long time and when finally collected it never really got to test it so WSC got used a payment for something - never heard from again that I know of. Robert may of had ride hindering illness even then. Glad to know then 2nd WSC indexing paid off but Kenny built Commando racers and took a different path than the special order WSC.
