I have a set of JRB's Damper rods and they are VERY NICE (I have not installed them yet). If I can get the top bushes unreamed I am sure that I can find a local Machinist to do the fitting.

I have a couple of "real" Machinists in South Houston, Texas that I use (real as in NOT just button-pushers but actual Machinists) who like old bikes.

Excellent! It is really nice to find some old school machinist folks who are interested in these little projects of ours!! Seems like a dwindling pool though which is worrisome to me. I had a hard time finding someone to grind my Dommie crank who knew what they were doing. Very few people interested in small jobs.

I edited my post to include the address, they are in South Houston and not Pasadena but it's "6 of one and a half Dozen of the other"
as they are right on the line of the 2 cities. Tell them Vince sent you and they owe me a Beer.

I ordered a pair with the fancy bushings, 120GBP and if you order soon he is giving a deal to forum members!

So the damper kit was 215GBP = 335GBP (466USD) for the complete Landsdowne treatment.

EDITED TO ADD:
John has another trick "up his sleeve", I will let him tell about it, but it sure sounds good to me.

Hey ho unclviny in Stinkadena.
I did 4 yrs there going to various colleges. '74-78.
I had my P!! back then, could use some of Houston's steeper
over passes as jumps, but the oblique freeway seems would
often almost snatch me down, which at 60-70 mph of following
traffic I'd bee a grease spot to keep riding bike in commutes.

I finally got to read JRB"s original photo'd presentation of his
internals. Oh yeah a must try upgrade in my future Ms Peel. I'd
misunderstood it was just the Race Tech Emulator drop in
mode. Duh - John, sorry i'm a bit slow.

JRB's sleeve-bush tight slick fit kit sounds good to take the
last bit of nuance annoyance out of Roadholders.

He say's no fork brace needed, and racer tester experiences
seems to prove its not missed by them, but Peel with
the tri-linkage can strain forks under power fast enough
they begin to feel like rubber band connection through
bars, pilot input hits tire tire patch top late to matter
or at same time as fork whiplash amplifies pilot input
too much. They still twist and rebound with a stout
brace but at way higher frequency and less amplitude
to feel like rubber delayed pilot control.

Get going fast enough into-out of turns and your concept
of fork action reverses. Happens all the time to me
on THE Gravel. So the handling I'm fascinated with
is road riding as loose as THE Grit. In those states
the front just has to Not Conflict With the Over Powering
Rear.
