"A sad month for Norton Commando owners and addicts. Bob Trigg, the project leader and thus "father" of the Commando, died last Friday.
I had hoped to see him again at our Open Day this year. Last year I was impressed with his fitness in body and mind.
Farewell, Bob!"

He sure did build a nice bike ...Condolences to his family and friends ....

That is sad news
Condolences to his family
You helped give us a brilliant bike Bob thank you

Read an interview with Mr. Trigg years ago. Seemed very down-to-earth and matter-of-fact when it came to discussing motorcycle dynamics. Another giant gone. RIP

The motorcycling world is a better place for his endeavors. RIP sir.

Sad news indeed, but there are many monuments to him on the road today proving his stay here was worth it.

Very sad, he was one of the best. He managed to do the job excellently despite the ridiculous pressures put on him by the Managing Director and the multi-millionaire who resurrected the company. The Commando is a fitting monument to his engineering skills.

RIP Bob Trigg
RIP Mr Trigg.
I know someone who is a fan of one of his other designs and has bought several. He has even fitted a pulse jet engine to one and mentioned it to Bob Trigg when they met recently.
