Bib, the leader of the SoCal Norton club, passed away early this morning after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just a few short weeks ago- he was a good man, a friend, and norton enthusiast - he will be missed, RIP Bib

fuck cancer

I also enjoyed Bib he was a great guy a liitle gruff at times but always helpful and always leaned towards making a norton ridable as to concourse restored. you could always call him and ask for advice or help . He will be missed and I dont think there will ever be another bib he was one of a kind .

He always wanted to ride, I have to wonder how many miles he must have rode on his Nortons? I think he really worked hard at what he did, Keeping the club going and planning all the rides we had each year. Also the monthly meetings and the club site too. Another sad day! I'm just at a loss for words.

Yes Bib was always helping working on bikes planning even the hansen dam event he was all about nortons and motorcycles he will be missed. He told me stories when someone wanted to sell a norton the call came to him he got a nice ex race bike from the 60 s had been in a garage for years been converted to street many years ago as It had black and yellow plates with a tag from 67 or something, blue frame kind of special bike the guy called him up and said do you want it .

Sad news indeed, a real character full of Norton knowledge, very helpful, always had some good stories, He will be missed by all.......My condolences to his family.

Just talked to him at the Deus bike show a couple of months ago. He was very excited about this summers ride down the coast he was planning. Hope someone steps up to take his place, but that will be hard to fill his shoes. RIP Bib.

Worst news ever. I remember him cold calling me to buy a basket case I had for sale. Colorful character and I knew in 10 seconds talk on the phone I was talking to someone special. I'm sorry to hear the news.

He did give me his number that day not knowing me shit from shinola and I ended up calling him for tips a couple times and he was eager to give support and laughed at my lame jokes.

Good guy with a big heart for sure. Kind of a pillar for the southern cal norton owners group for sure.

+1 on it being hard to fill his shoes. That guy was a more than serious norton enthusiast.
