Hi,

How can you tell if an angine has had a rebore, are the rings stamped with +10 +20 etc. I need new rings and am unsure what to order.

The pistons are usually marked +10 +20 etc. Only other way to tell is to measure the bore against the factory specs. Or measure the piston.

My pistons had that "020" on them. And after I'd bought standard rings! Luckily, Old Britts was very gracious about exchanging.

Most (but not all) cast replacement pistons have the oversize stamped on the top, but many of the forged high performance pistons do not. Always good to measure for certainty.
