I have just replaced both exhaust pipes on a 69 commando fastback The left side complete exhaust lined up perfectly however the right side angle on the exhaust pipe at the flange appears to be the incorrect angle and the system will not align. Can these pipe be altered or do I have a defective pipe that needs to be replaced. I measured the angle at the flange roughly on each pipe and they are not the same. Thx Drummer 99

Aftermarket pipes often have a problem with the right side being too far from the frame rail, causing the silencer to either be hit by the kick lever or worst case not meeting up with the muffler mounts at all.

from whom did you buy them.? i just returned at set to british cycle supply ( made by Wassell) that did not fit on either side. Walridge had no stock, and so I elected to buy a used set just to get it running.

I have been told that a company in england called harris was making good pipes, Mototparts in edmonton can't get anything out of the UK right now ....:(

I have just returned a pair to Armours with the same problem also the chrome had tiny bumps in it like specks of something had not been cleaned before plating some you could feel other just glitter in the light. The bends of each pipe also were different when held together not like a left and right mirror image but i don't know if they should be. They did not match the position or length of the bends of old pipes either.
I got a 1 an 1/2 inch system from RGM back in 2013 it fits an has no issue the only reason I was changing is having read many posts here saying it is to large to make the engine pull properly.
I was disappointed so the old pipes are back on.

I can only say as I find, the complete system I purchased from Armour back in March fitted a dream.... yes the down pipes don't hug the frame tubes like the originals but other than that I can't complain
It just goes to show :)

MK 111 left side ? Single pipe desired , but snags up on primary. I'll start a new thread seeing as I only care about the left side.
