MK 111 primary side exhaust pipe clearance.

I'm ditching the stock restrictive bean can system for preferred single downtube pipes (with no crossover pipe ) , to reverse cone mufflers. I tried fitting the earlier downtube pipe system but no clearance on the left side. Hits the primary and it's drain bolt and subsequently won't fit the reverse cone silencer. The right side is no problemo. What to do ?
