RGM Folding KS....

If you’ve got a propane torch, a vice, and some weetabix, you can bend the stock kicker in such a way as to extended it usefully…

Issue is I have rearsets and the swivel kicker doesn't clear. I tried. What happens to the structural integrity of the kicker if I heat and bend? A kicker that breaks in action could tear the hell out of your leg.
How much extra length does your exercise achieve?
Just check AN page and the proddy lever is near on 200 quid! Dear me!

Ah… you said it doesn’t fit a TTI box!

I think that so long as it’s heated correctly, it’s fine. It took my 95kg jumping on it for all my worth, with 920cc and 11:1cr!

Can’t recall how much longer it ended up being.

I bought one of these a few years ago but never installed it on my combat. I finally got a new tank for my 68 fastback and got it painted and installed and on a whim installed the rgm starter to replace the original that had pretty worn serations and did not clear the peashooters currently on the bike. Done about a hundred miles with it and really like it. For whatever reason, the 20m3 has one sweet motor and now paint to match.View attachment 125211
My RGM lever banged on the oil tank on my fastback, looks like yours does too? I moved it forward on the splines so that the folded lever is horizontal, and it sits nicely in front of the oil tank. When folded out it still engages at a sensible point to start kicking

Good idea. When I first installed I was not too worried about it because I was planning to return tank and battery covers to silver color. After riding with new paint I realize no, will keep black, because I like it. Next time on lift I will move lever on splines.
