I ordered one, it will be here this week.

My question is what spokes to use. Will the std disk hub spokes work or will I need a special set?

Has anyone used one before?

A little late to figure it out since I want to lace it up when it gets here.

You don't mention what rim you are using?

The standard Norton Commando front rim has such an offset that you will have to use the correct rim & therefore spoke kit.

How do I know, I've just laced one up.

I'm using a wm3 x 19 flanged aluminum from a harley. I suspect I will need to order a spoke kit for it.

From the picture on the website it looks like it will be laced up centered like the drum brake rather than offset. You probably can use a drum brake rim, but the spoke length will be different.

I'd give RGM a call to confirm what length and bend spokes you need and what rim to use.

What are you using for forks, rotors, and calipers?

I emailed RGM, but they are 6 hours ahead, so it was 10pm.

Std forks, RGM grimeca caliper kit with mount and RGM disk. Just one side for now. I plan on doing the other side in the future and only want to build the wheel up once.

Hi

I will follow this with interest as I have 3 standard discs in the garage along with a drum alloy rim & I reckon that I can build a complete front wheel up for less than one Norvil disc!!!

Hi Madass140

Thanks for that. Thought it might be worth offering up. Still hate to waste those discs.

all the best Chris
