I marched in the first Earth Day in NYC, but was too young to go to Woodstock.
I was at UMD during Woodstock. I kind of wanted to go, but maybe was glad I didn't. Some of my friends went, I was out of the army and married by then. Interesting times. My favorite album is still CSN&Y. I guess that says a lot.

The debut album with 'Marrakesh Express' and 'Suite Judy Blue Eyes' or the last one with 'Just a Song Before I Go'?
I still have a soft spot for Led Zeppelin, but also really like The Faces, early Moody Blues, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones, especially the albums from 'Beggar's Banquet' through 'Sticky Fingers', the Who, Cream, Yes, Procol Harum, King Crimson, Yardbirds - you get the picture.
For North American bands - anything with Stephen Stills and/or Neil Young, the Velvet Underground and most of Lou Reed's solo stuff, Frank Zappa, Carole King, James Taylor, Spirit, the Band, early Chicago, the Beach Boys, Blood, Sweat and Tears (the band with Kooper and the first album with Thomas), old outlaw country (Willie, Waylon, Johnny Cash), a lot of early punk (Dead Kennedys, Talking Heads, Blondie), a lot of Motown, straight jazz, especially Be-bop (Dizzy, Miles, Bird), etc.
Actually, I like a pretty wide variety of music
I've got a Beach Boys album, 'All Summer Long', which has two versions of 'Little Honda'
the album version has the line, 'it climbs the hills like a Matchless 'cause my Honda's built really light'
in the single version, the line goes, 'it climbs the hills like a champ 'cause my Honda's built really light'
