Hi Alan

I Use Renthal super bike High on my Mk3. I found the the UK spec bars to low and the US bars to high and wide the. the Renthals are spot on for me.

I have silver Rethal alloy bars ( Eruo style) on my 850 Featherbed Norton and find them to be just right and having 6mm wall thickness no vibrations at all in the hands they are very comfortable for all day riding.

I've got the Renthal Ultra low bars which, although I like, just wish I could get in Stainless or Chromed finish. I just didn't like the district nurse style bicycle standard ones.

Personally, I find the US pattern bars go really well with the stock footrests.

Nice looking bike Cab, shame it’s not got a chrome front mudguard...

Here are my Renthal Street Fighter bars. They come with a cross member which can be unbolted. If you search "renthal Street Fighters you'll find the rest of my photos.

I have the silver road high 756-01 SI. They give a nice riding position, but for me they did not reduce handlebar vibration (unfortunately as that's really why I bought them).

More details here..

Cheers,

Couple of years ago I got the Dave Taylor head steady with the spring , after some fiddling with spring tension, got things to the point where there is virtually no vibes , making it to the bars ( UK spec low ) or foot pegs in fact hard to tell I got fire cruising @ 55mph .... got the iso's set a fraction tighter than the book say .... very happy with set up ....

Are you fiddling with the spring tension on #9 in this drawing?

Or is there a spring with the Dave Taylor head steady?

Real nice Alan .... like the rise and the color is kinda interesting , the bars sure got to your place fast !

I ere well pleased...hopefully will have tag/title next week so can ride....when all the paper work is done I plan to post steps I had to go through to get road legal here in NC

around this time last year I came across a low mileage Ducati ST , had been worked on in a local shop and left , bill unpaid .... shop owner died left everything to son .... son is selling Duc for $500 , seems never registered in Canada before , I passed on it , a fellow I know bought it , and as far as I know it still sitting in his garage .... not sure it wouldn't have been more profitable for the son to part out .... hope you get on the road legal soonest , enjoy ! Craig
