Removing wheel bearing spacer

Hi all,

I want to remove the wheel bearing spacer (062070, pictured below) from the bearing attached to the rear hub dummy axle on my 1971 750 Commando:



I attempted freezing the whole sprocket/brake drum assembly, but that didn't work. I've also tried brute force, but to no avail. How do you remove the spacer?

Grip the spacer in a small vice and knock the hub off the spacer with a mallet.
