In post 16 Andy is talking about the dogs in the speedo drive gear which engage slots on the hub, NOT the cush rubbers. Re difficulty installing the wheel - the difficulty will go away rather quickly after riding. When I put new cush rubbers in mine I had to use clamps to insert the wheel. A month or two later it was no issue at all - no clamps or anything required to remove/reinstall wheel..It was a struggle to get them all three in, but I eventually squeezed them together with the help of 3 C-clamps, Then tightened the spindle to seat all three a solid as I could. It's almost impossible to see in between the hub and brake housing after pressing everything together but I'm pretty certain they're all seated. Like I said, everything fit easily afterwards, including the wide spacer that gives a lot of people headaches.
