I bought one, it is made from stainless tube but not polished, the tube makers identification marking is still on the tubes which need removing and I ended up using emery as no solvent would remove it. I then polished where I could be being all welded the mops could not do it all. Welds are good and it fitted well but needs finishing as per the markings and the polishing. Based on the website was going to buy more for all my bikes but after receiving one I am powder coating my old ones for my B44's and the C15 and will only get stainless for the Combat and the T120R as they have nothing.

From the US the TEL. 07742611811 should be dialed as 0044 7742611811

There are links to a facebook and a Google + page.

But the G+ leads nowhere and it looks like questions on the facebook page are ignored so ring the cell phone number.

Thanks, I was hoping someone had email contact with this company and could send me the email address.

I never got any emails off them, the rack just appeared 2 or 3 days after I ordered it, no confirmation and no despatch info. Should imagine its a one man band and not PC keen. Just checked the paypal invoice and it just says John Jackson, no email address.

I'd rather not put some load on the rear frame loop. Two out of my four (Commando) frames need a repair of the kinked rear loop because of stuff like that.

I have reinforced my 72 frame with extended shock gussets and the 74 frame has the extended gussets as std so no worries and do not carry much anyway.

AN sell very 'proper' looking racks and luggage systems for Commando's.

As, I believe, do Ventura.

yes , I see the Andover rack triangulates off the lower foot rest mount area.
This is the key to increasing load capacity...............and could be added to any rack system.............to allow a Yeti 35 iced down with some silver bullets.

I was able to contact thru email and purchase a rack from Classic Bike Racks, thank to kommando.
I checked with John Jackson, who runs the business, and he was fine with posting his email address -
john jackson <classicbikeracks@gmail.com>
I needed a revised shipping cost to the USA for a 80GBP rack

From: john jackson <classicbikeracks@gmail.com>
I can send to U.S.A. the cost of the rack & postage will be £118.50 you can pay with paypal on my website John.

His website does not allow you to revise the shipping or select USA, so I had to select UK to complete the order, and then send another paypal to cover additional shipping.

Not a steal, but the alternative is me wanting to make a rack, getting materials, and making my first poorly bent and welded rack...............or more possible, doing nothing.
Actually a great deal for me.
Pictured here is an Interstate rack, not what I purchased, but a nice looking rack.

I bought one of Mr. Jacksons Interstate racks, and as Kommando says, it comes in unpolished stainless but at least overall it fitted well except for a couple of minor issues, which were, the 2 x "C" clips that he supply's at the rear frame tube are a bit flimsy and on mine cracked after carrying some weight on a holiday, so I fitted 2 x solid stainless "C" clips of the type that RGM supply for the grab rail and since then, all has been well. The only other "issue" was I had to fit a small spacer on the shock absorber bolt for the rack to clear the frame rails.

It suits the Interstate nicely in my opinion.

I bought the Interstate and that came with 2 spacers, as per the photo the were zip tied to one of the shock holes on the rack.

I'm sure you're correct that the spacers come with the rack. My memory isn't that sharp :?
