Once again the members of this forum / British bike family have gone above and beyond. It's just now getting into the riding season in Texas. Hope to have the MK3 on the road soon. Thanks

Purchased MK3 survivor, pretty much all there..... well used. Motor top end and carbs had already been rebuilt. I did get it to start. but the kick starter ( no electric ) was slipping. SO, fixed that and that led to the other side. Clutch completely a basket case 3 different types of plates, etc....... but I bet it worked. Now to the brakes. Purchased rebuild kits to find out the rear master is complete roached out. No threads in the housing and cylinder rusted pretty bad. Looks like they used some type of sealer and crammed the cylinder into the housing.

I haven't been a part of this group very long and I'm new to the British bike family. I've spent my time Dirt Sprint Car racing and then on to building Studebakers. But it was two wheeled machines that was my start and I'm back in the saddle. I've only ask a few questions and received very good feed back. I need a rather rare part and one of the members helped me out quickly.

I'm now back looking for advice and maybe a serviceable master, since I already have the kit. If not what would y'all advise. Again... I'm just trying to build a bike to wonder the back roads. Yup, I live in Texas. Thanks

Hey,
I got a 'new' one from Ebay.
Forgot what it cost but it wasn't much.
British Cycle carries them.
Any number of places carry them.
Just shop around so you don't over pay.
